Non-NCKU Students

Intercollegiate Course Enrollment
for the Spring Semester of the 2025-26 Academic Year
NoteIntercollegiate course enrollment is administered online, with no need for non-NCKU students to visit NCKU in person to complete the process.

Latest information:

  • NCKU General Education courses will be available to non-NCKU students for enrollment only after the process of online course addition for NCKU students is completed. The course-offering unit is scheduled to conduct the review on March 4 (Wednesday).
  • Taiwan AI Alliance courses (unit codes AI and ZA) and Coursera courses are not available for intercollegiate course enrollment.

Course Selection

  1. Basic information: Please specify your personal information and upload the consent form from your home school. (Note: The form shall be sealed for approval by the Office of Academic Affairs at your home school before uploading it, with no need to visit NCKU to obtain an approval seal in the designated column on the form.)
  2. Online course selection: Data files for course selection can be saved temporarily and submitted for review upon confirmation.

to 5pm, Wednesday, March 4

  1. Course review:

Please check the review status regularly to avoid missing a notification of request for supplementary documents, which may affect your eligibility for course enrollment. The reviewers include course instructors, the course-offering unit, and the Curriculum Division.

Payment for Credit Fees

From 9am, Monday, February 9

to 12pm, Wednesday, March 6

  1. Course Approval:

Upon review and approval, an ATM account number for the payment of credit fees will be generated.

  1. Payment slips:

You can choose to print an ATM payment slips (either from a physical ATM or via online banking transfer) or a counter payment slips (Please note that you are allowed to make counter payments at the Bank of Taiwan only. Other financial institutions are not designated by NCKU for counter payments.)

  1. Payment completed:

Please have the intercollegiate course enrollment and payment certificate printed and submitted to your home school. It certifies that you have completed the NCKU-designated procedures for intercollegiate course enrollment, with no need for NCKU to seal the consent form from your home school.

Refund and Course Withdrawal (Suspension) Policies

Note: Students shall not apply for refunds except for course cancellation as a result of insufficient enrollment. To apply for study suspension during the semester, please complete and submit the form (please click here) to the Curriculum Division by May 22, 2026.

Credit Fees

The fee standards for the 2025-26 academic year are set as follows, with the actual amount based on the final review results of the course:

  • Undergraduate programs (including physical education, military training, general education, teacher education, foreign language curriculum): NT$1,020 per credit for courses (marked as 0 credits) based on the number of class hours per week.
  • Graduate programs:  NT$5,000 per credit for courses in the Advanced Master Business Administration (AMBA) Program under the College of Management. NT$2700 per credit for courses in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program under the College of Management.

NT$1,600 per credit for other courses.

  • In-service master’s program:

NT$3,700 per credit for courses. (Please refer to Fee-charging Standards.)

  • Fee collections from students of Tainan National University of the Arts and the Taiwan Comprehensive University System (NCKU, National Chung Hsing University, National Sun Yat-sen University and National Chung Cheng University) are administrated on a reciprocal basis. Therefore, the uploaded consent form intercollegiate course enrollment should specify the conditions for credit fee waivers. If the conditions are not clearly indicated, you will be charged the original amount during course review. In addition, please consider your course enrollment carefully. Upon enrollment, if you intend to withdraw, you must personally complete the procedure for course withdrawal (suspension), which will be recorded and reported to your home school by the Division of the Registrar at the end of the semester.

Digital Learning Platform

Please click the website at https://moodle.ncku.edu.tw/conf/stuauditor/ to apply for a Moodle account. You will be notified by email after the platform administrator confirms your status as an enrolled student.

Leave Application

Please have the NCKU Student Leave Application Form printed (from the link for [Forms Download] at he website of the Student Assistance Division) and signed for approval by the course instructor before submission to the Student Assistance Division for administrative verification.

Course Grades

At the end of the semester, the NCKU Division of the Registrar (ext. 50132) will send grades in an official letter to the academic affairs office of the respective school.

In accordance with Procedure 4 of the aforementioned regulations, those without any digital identification are required to use the Temporary Access Card from the NCKU Campus Security Squad Division” to apply for an access card for the medical college teaching building or the Center of Biomedical Excellency & Synergy.
